House, now County Council offices. c1810. Brick with ashlar dressings; tile roof with end stacks. 3 storeys; irregular 3-window range. Double-depth plan. Georgian style. Ashlar plinth, ground floor flush sill band with sills, 1st floor sill band, and top modillioned timber cornice. Round-headed central entrance has doorcase with panelled pilasters, entablature blocks and pediment, fanlight with decorative glazing bars and fluted frieze over 6-fielded-panel door; left end has lower elliptical-headed entrance with 6-fielded-panel door. Windows (to left and right of entrance and to right end) have rubbed brick flat arches over 12-pane sashes, those to 2nd floor have sills and 9-pane sashes. Rear has large late C20 addition.
