Shop and dwelling. Early C17. Timber-frame and plaster; hipped slate roof; brick stack to rear. 3-storeys and cellar; 1-window range: C19 canted oriel with coved underhang, and late C19, 2/2: 8/8: 2/2 sashes. Lighter studding to 2nd floor suggests altered roof pitch, with late C19, 6/6 sashes. Entrance to left: C19, 6-panel door (upper 2 glazed) in mutilated opening giving access to half glazed 2-panel door (to dwelling) and canted half glazed door to shop; shop window to right has moulded glazing shafts and surround; under deep overhang on cast-iron columns; soffits visible. Lath and plaster removed from front in 1932.
