Farmhouse, now house. Built 1610 and altered 1710 for Exeter College, Oxford, Coursed limestone rubble to C17 house on right; colourwashed Flemish bond brick to early C18 extension on left; brick end stack to left arid stone ridge stack to right. 2-unit lobby-entry plan extended to double-depth plan, 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Projecting C17 gable end to right has timber lintels over mid C18 nine-pane sashes with thick glazing bars, flanked by blocked early C18 window on ground floor. C20 door to left of C17 gable end. Gabled roof dormer. C18 outshut to rear. Interior:C17 house has stone-flag floors, stop-chamfered bears, ribbed door to quarter-turn stairs with winders to rear of stack and open fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer to front. Early C18 extension: fine do-leg with winders staircase with turned balusters set on closed string; fine c.1730 panelled room to left, with moulded cornice, fielded panelling and doors and bolection-moulded overmantel; first floor room has similar dado panelling, moulded cornice and doors.
