PADSTOW LANADWELL STREET (south side), SW 9075-9175 Padstow 8/93 Padstow Pottery and No. 11

GV II

Pottery and shop with accommodation above adjoining house. Probably originally a pair of houses with shops inserted on ground foor in mid to late C19. Circa mid C19. Rendered and stuccoed timber framing with painted brick front. Scantle slate roof with hipped ends and brick end stacks. Plan: Probably originally a pair of 2-room double depth plan houses with shops later inserted in front room. Heatd by end stacks. Exterior: 2-storeys. Regular 2-swindow front. Pottery on left has a C19 shop front with an early C19 12-pane sash on the first floor. No. 11 on right has a C19 panelled door with fanlight to left and a wide window to right, the top light with C19 glazing bars. First floor with early C19 hornelss 12-pane sash. Interior: Ground floor partitions removed in pottery to left and interior of No. 11 not inspected.
