Description

MOLLAND SS 8028-8128 20/80 School House - GV II House. Late C17 or early C18, remodelled probably in the late C19 or early C20. Cement rendered, probably over stone rubble and cob. Gable-ended asbestos-slate roof, with catslide over outshut at rear. Rendered stacks at gable ends. Plan and development: 2-room plan, facing south. Larger principal room to left with integral end stack and entrance at its right-hand end , and smaller room to right with external end stack. Continuous outshut at rear. Front entrance to right-hand room, probably inserted in the late C19. This suggests that the house might have been divided at some time. 2-storeys. C20 half-glazed segmental-headed door just off centre to left. Probably inserted C20 half-glazed door to far right.
