LS28 FULNECK SE23SW PUDSEY (north side) No's 47 to 57 (odd) 4/128 II GV

Row of 6 irregularly grouped cottages, one now Fulneck Museum. Mid to late C18. Hammer-dressed stone, partly rendered; stone slate roofs. 2 storeys, No. 55 (museum) single storey with basement, one of 2 bays. From left : No 57, taller than rest of row, has doorway with monolithic jambs to left of 2-light flat-faced mullioned window with same above. End stacks to rendered gables, that to right of brick. No 55 (museum) has doorway approached up short flight of stone steps with cast-iron railings. Flanking 3-light flat-faced mullioned windows with a wider central light. Ridge stack at junction with No 53 which has doorway with monolithic jambs with single sash to left and 2-light flat-faced mullioned window to right with same above. No's 47 to 51 are rendered and have glazed doors and 2-light wooden flush wood- framed sashes with 12-pane glazing. 3 low ridge stacks to this range.
