2. 1880, by T Chatfield Clarke. Modified Italian renaissance style in Portland stone. 4 original storeys plus added attic with mansard above. 4 major bays wide, windows in trios, transomed and with attached colonnettes to mullions. Order of paired columns to each storey with enriched friezes at 1st and 2nd floor levels. Crowning corbelled cornice. Ground storey windows and entrance altered. Passageway under western part leading to Sun Court.
