2. C19 early. 3 storeys, ashlar Bath stone, projecting plinth, ground and 1st floors divided by 6 incised panelled pilasters with moulded caps supporting plain frieze, moulded cornice, and blocking course. The 2nd floor is divided by narrower, similar pilasters each with carved stele at base, plain frieze, small moulded cornice, blocking course with panelled blocks over pilasters each surmounted by delicately carved antefixae. Slate roof. 5 square windows on 2nd floor [blocked]. 5 windows in rectangular recesses on 1st floor with cills carried across between the pilasters. Glazing bar sashes. 1 window in arched recess to right hand on ground floor. Doorway in arched recess under 2nd 1st floor window from right hand 3-large-panelled door within with h incised line and key patterns in each corner. Plain rectangular fanlight over, now set back, revealing enriched cornice of hall. Rest of ground floor has modern verandah obscuring the design of the building which is a good example of its period. Cast iron arrow head rails, dog rails and gate to the 2 right hand bays. To rear: Brick elevation with stone strings, cornice and cope to parapet. 3 windows, glazing bar sashes, single hung on 2nd floor, tripartite on 1st and ground floors, segmental overarches to ground floor, with central doorway having sidelights and marginal glazing in overlight. Basement.
