Late C18 to early C19. Three storeys and attic. Mansard slate roof. Two dormers. Three window bays. Cornice and parapet; plain stringcourse. Rendered front. Sash windows. Modern shop windows on ground floor. Carriageway through at right hand end; in the latter, a six-fielded panelled door with fine knocker. To right hand, beyond carriageway and in return to No 55, a six-panelled door with semi-circular fanlight. No 56 comprises part of the rear range to No 55; mansard roof; sash windows with glazing bars; six-panelled door with two-fielded panels and angel-head knocker. Early C19 segmental arch in carriageway, reeded, corbel blocks with roundels.

Nos 45 to 65 (consec) form a group.
