Shops and dwellings. C17, refronted C18. Stucco; Welsh slate roof with 3 gables to front. 3 storeys and cellar; 3-window range: later C18 canted bays with 2/2: 6/6: 2/2 sashes, under jetty on various later figurehead consoles; 3/3 sashes. Early C20 shop fronts: No.8: central glazed and panelled double doors and blocked overlight under boarded soffit on cast-iron brackets, between canted plate-glass windows; to right, C20 door; moulded hood on enriched modillions; No.10: recessed glazed and panelled door, and canted plate-glass window, with leaded clerestory lights; similar hood on pilasters with moulded panels.
