II
Miller's house. Said to be 1760 and built for a mine captain, however it appears to be early C19. Killas rubble with granite dressings; dry slate roof with brick end stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window front. Original 16-pane hornless sashes and central doorway with C20 door. INTERIOR not inspected but said to retain many original features including open-well staircase, panelled doors, one large stone fireplace, another blocked, and roof trusses of reused ships' timbers.
