House, now shop. Late C18 or earlier. Limestone rubble with right-hand brick gable stack and stone slate roof. Single-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic; 1-window range. A symmetrical front with a large dormer gable, left-hand doorway with timber bracketed canopy to a door with 6 raised panels; plate-glass ground-floor window, a timber lintel to 10/10-pane first-floor sash and cambered head to 8/8-pane attic sash. Loop and openwork finial on the C19 gable; the roof continues across No.48 to the left. INTERIOR: altered, details include a right-hand front stair.
