House. Late C17/early C18. Limestone rubble with brick gable stacks and stone slate roof. 2-room parallel plan with through-passage and rear service range. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Timber lintels to a central doorway with 6 flush panels, the top pair glazed, ground-floor metal-framed mid C20 casements, and first-floor late C20 casements. Rear full-width outshut. INTERIOR: a flagged through-passage with a right-hand studwork screen, C20 fireplaces, that to the right-hand end inserted in a deep chimney breast, with a door to its right to a winder stair; first floor has studwork partitions, a rear 3-light mullion window with turnbuckle, and a small front cupboard with bowed back; winder stair to the attic, which has a 3-bay roof with tie beam trusses with lapped collars, notched ridge joint, and no ridge piece.
