Description


GEDLING CHURCH STREET SK 54 NE Arnold (south west side) 4/48 No.15,( Arnold House) 14.12.72 II House. Early C18. Brick with hipped slate roof. Ashlar dressings. Plinth, first floor sill band, moulded wood eaves. 2 side wall stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Square plan. Windows are triple glazing bar sashes with cornices. Street front has central receded doorcase with fanliqht and scrolled brackets to dentillated open pediment. C19 half-glazed door. Flanked by single windows. Above, central round headed keystoned sash flanked by single windows. Above again, 2 C20 flat roofed dormers. North side has a C19 casement on each floor. South side has C20 flat roofed porch and to its left, a casement. Above to left, 2 C20 casements. Above again, C20 flat roofed dormer.
