Farmhouse, now house. Mid C18 with mid C19 right-hand extension and bay windows. Limewashed limestone rubble with pantile roof and stone rubble stacks; brick end stack to rear wing. L-shaped plan with rear wing; mid C19 one-room addition to right. 2 storeys. Main block of 2-window front with timber lintels over C18 wooden cross windows to first floor, with wrought iron fittings to opening casements; ground floor has gabled and bracketted hood over half-glazed door and mid C19 canted bay window with 2x3-pane casements; stone-coped gables and end stacks. West gable has 2-light wood-mullioned windows, with iron fittings for external shutters; east (left-hand) elevation of rear wing has blocked former central entry and similar 3-light transomed first-floor window with leaded upper lights. Mid C19 extension, lower and with roof hipped to right, has 2-light casement above similar bay window. Interior noted as having many original features, including stop-chamfered beam in rear wing, substantial C17 studded door with moulded muntins and mid-rail set in ovolo-moulded frame (probably reset), open fireplace with wood lintel to former hall/kitchen in ground-floor room left; first-floor fireplaces with moulded architraves and flanking panelled doors with moulded architraves, the rea-wing fireplace having C18 cast-iron hob grate; attic retains C18 roof structure (obscured) and blocked 2-light wood-mullioned window with leaded lights in west gable.
