5/50 Mill chest tomb about 8m north - north west of the tower of the Church of St Giles GV II

Chest tomb. Early C18. Stone rubble chest with inscribed slate lid commemorating Grace Mill, died 1734 and other members of the Mill family. The lid has a scratch moulded border with angels carved in the upper corners and a deaths head above the inscription. A particularly attractive example of an C18 chest tomb with good lettering.
