GEORGE LANE 1. 5407 (North Side) No 58 including iron railings SU 1868 2/160 II 2. Nodular flint, brick, and pebble dash. Pitched slate roof. 2 storeys. North part is flint, canted front, with angle buttresses of projecting flint bands alternating with 2 courses of brick. Parapet to roof, with buttresses carried slightly higher. 2 pointed casements with glazing bars in outer bays, and planked door in pointed arch with flint monolith as keystone. South part has coursed flint ground floor, pebbledashed 1st floor. 2 casements on 1st floor, and 1 with lead glazing bars on ground floor. Iron railings with spear finials to garden. Flint wall to road, ending in gatepier of alternate flint and brick bands at west end.
