House. Early/mid C16. Timber-framed with weatherboarding and gabled plain tile roofs. Brick rear lateral stack to left and ridge stack to right. Open-hall plan type with cross-wing to right. Floor inserted into open-hall in C17. EXTERIOR: single storey and attics; 2-window range. Late C19/early C20 central plank door and 2-light casements with glazing bars. Gable end of cross-wing is matched by large gabled dormer added c1900, to front of former open hall. C20 extension to rear. INTERIOR: jowled storey posts survive from former 2-bay hall. 2-bay cross-wing with large bridging joist and common joists, jowled posts and simple collar-rafter roof.
