Single cottage, formerly three dwellings. Early C18. Coursed rubble-stone walls. Thatch roof with gable ends. Brick stacks at gable ends and on ridge right of centre. 1½ storeys. 3 windows : 3 blocking, door 2, front door, 3 lights. 2 light eyebrow dormers over. Small wood casements with glazing bars. Wood lintels over. Plank door left of centre, with wood frame and lintel over. Present front door, right of centre, plank with weatherboard, C19. Rubble stone porch and stone slab gabled roof, C20. Interior: slight chamfered, ceiling beams. Open fireplace in right gable, C20 revetment to earlier opening. Central fireplace, stone lined, C20 wood lintel in situ. (R.C.H.M. Dorset II, p.393 (11)).
