House. Late C18. Rendered timber-flame on brick plinth with thatch roofand brick end stacks. 2-unit plan with pair of central winder stairs. Single-storey and attic; 2-window range of 2-light horizontal sliding sash to far left and 9-pane window to far right. Plank door to left, small louvred opening and then C20 gabled porch with original plank door within. 2-light casement eyebrow dormer above left door. Various later extensions on left end and rear. Interior: Thin ceiling beams and rafters; plank doors and pair of winder stairs. Small open fireplace to right has simple wooden mantelpiece and shelf. Framing of thin scantling masked by paper but sole plates and plinth visible. Upper part of frame and thin rafters partly visible in attic.
