Cottage. Mid C19 on earlier foundations. Possibly c1870 by Devey. Red brick with pseudo timber framing and plaster infill. Plain tile roof. Banded brick ridge stack and brick gable stack. Two storeys. Chamfered plinth. Gable end elevation to Main Street has brick and rendered ground floor and 'black and white' above. Three-light wooden casement with a single-light window above and above again. Four bay west elevations to School Lane has taller symmetrical three bays, rendered to ground floor and 'black and white' above. Central doorway with panelled door, flanked by three-light casement windows. Single-light above flanked by two-light casements. Two gabled dormers with coving beneath the windows. To the right a lower brick bay has a two-light casement window to ground floor, with returned hoodmould. Two-light window above. Listed for group value only.
