House. c1880. Probably by JS Corder, addition of north canted window bay by Corder 1884. White brick; slate roofs. French Empire style. 2 storeys and attics. Irregular plan. Entrance porch set in angle between north and east wings: half-glazed door with margin and overlights set behind porch. Porch is stuccoed and has a 4-centred arch supported on pair of unfluted Composite columns. Greek key frieze in entablature below an open pierced balustrade. House with clasping corner pilasters, rusticated below and fluted to first floor, with Composite capitals. Over porch is a stuccoed scalloped-headed niche to right and a small 1/1 horned sash to left. North front has a canted window bay to left added in 1884 and fitted with 1/1 horned sashes. Above this is a truncated pyramid roof with a pedimented dormer fitted with a 1/1 horned sash. East return of this bay with a partly external stack. One bay to right of canted bay, with a scalloped-headed niche to first floor on a stuccoed apron above a swag slung between 2 keyed roundels. Partly external stack rises from the niche. Hipped roofs. Single-bay east return with a tripartite sash to ground floor and a pair of arched 1/1 horned sashes to first floor. In roof is a circular iron window. INTERIOR not inspected.
