House. 1619, enlarged to east 1780. Brick with slate roof. C17 house of half H plan now with courtyard filled by later construction. 2 storeys and attic. Left gable with set-off at first floor. One 4-light arched timber casement to ground and first floors. 3-light attic window. Right cross gable rebuilt C18 and plain but with internal gable end stack. Centre section also C18 with one 3-light timber casement each floor. West front very plain C18 work : round arched central door. One sash right and left under gauged skew- back arches, now boarded over. 2 similar sashes to first floor. Upper south wall with 4-light brick arched window under square hood. Remainder and all interior destroyed by fire. Principal extension 1780 to east. 2 storeys in 5 bays. Door in second bay from right with overlight and below pediment on brackets. Ground floor sash window boarded over. 5 upper floor sashes with glazing bars beneath alternating flat and pedimented stucco hoods on scrolled brackets. Moulded parapet. Gabled roof with west internal gable stack. No internal features of interest survived fire.
