Formerly farmhouse now private house, c.1860, said to be by W Butterfield. Red brick in Flemish bond with tiled roof. 2 storeys. 2 bays. 2-light flush casements with glazing bars and half-brick ring relieving arches above the flat heads. Blue brick diaper work, in a diamond arrangement, at first floor level, this continues all round the building but is interrupted by the gable-end windows (there are no first floor windows in the facade. There is a single storey hipped roof porch at the west gable-end which contains an oak beaded and studded door on ornate strap hinges, said to come from C14 Marton Church in settlement of a debt. At the rear (south) the main roof continues as a catslide to embrace a single storey outshut. The east roof gable is half hipped. Interior: 4-panel and ledged and battened doors. Some segmental headed openings and door heads.
