House c1760-70, restored c1984. Narrow gault brick, English bond, with red brick quoins and flat window arches. Steeply pitched tiled roof with tumbled gable end parapets, repaired coping and symmetrical end stacks. L-plan. Two storeys. Symmetrical elevation of three hung sashes in original openings at first floor. Two c1984 tripartite hung sashes in enlarged openings. The red brick arches have been rendered at both ground and first floors. Three steps up to central doorway with late C18 doorcase. Panelled reveals and cornice on enriched console brackets. Raised and fielded panelled door. Rear range of similar brick except where restored and renovated. Roof raised. Two storeys. Inside: c1770 open string staircase of two flights and landing with moulded rail, curtail, enriched scroll tread ends and two balusters to each tread. Each baluster composed of a vase and a Doric column. Larger Doric columns to the newels. Opposing front and rear doorways. Two internal doorways have segmental arches to half glazed doors, the lower half with raised and fielded panel. Each of the two ground floor rooms at the front has an original fireplace surround with fluted pilasters enriched capitals and a frieze of original applied plaster figures representing Spring and Autumn.
