House. Mediaeval origins, altered C15, remodelled C16 and later and restored heavily twice in C20. Coursed rubble mixed to right with some ashlar. Cotswold stone roof with C20 rubble end chimneys. L-plan. Hall house with inserted floor, cross-wing (for a period with jetty). 2 storeys, on chamfered plinth. Irregular fenstration, 5 windows on 1st floor. 4 C19 glazing-bar sashes and a C20 3-light mullion window; on ground floor 3 windows with stilted labels, to left 6 lights with moulded mullions and jambs, outer lights with cusped ogee heads and cusped quatrefoils; 4- and 2-light mullion windows to right. Arched C15 doorway with 2 hollow chamfers to surround, steps up to ledged C20 door, above the left hand window are the sawn-off joists of a former jetty, and also part of common wood lintel below the 2 right-hand windows. Above the ground floor on the left hand corner is a reset mediaeval figurine (perhaps an eaves corbel?). Rear partly roofed in imitation stone-tiles. Interior not inspected.
