The other side has an early C17 style 4 centred arched stone fireplace which has probably been brought in and a bread oven to the right dating from the period when the house was subdivided into cottages. The Dining Room (formerly Parlour) has a late C16 or early C17 4 centred arched brick fireplace with stone quoins and chamfered spine beam with lambs tongue stops and chamfered floor joists. North east wall has original wooden door frame chamfered with high stop. 1st floor former principal bedroom over original Parlour has a late C16 to early C17 4 centred arched brick fireplace with straight chamfer and high stop. Queen post roof and exposed framing with midrail. C19 plank doors. Some of the framing is staggered with C20 non-structural curved braces for decoration. Elsewhere in the house are sections of imported twisted balusters and early C17 carved panels which may be from a carved overmantel.
