GV II

House. Mid C18 (deeds dated 1750) altered C19 and C20. Built of stone rubble with early-mid C19 white brick dressings. Late C19 slate roof with end brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys, 2 windows. Rear range added late C19 in brick. 2 16-pane sashes in moulded architraves with cambered head linings to ground floor. Central wooden trellised weatherporch. 4-panel door, the top 2 panels glazed. Right return wall and stack rebuilt 1976; 1978 garage to left and C20 rear extensions not of special interest. Included for group value.
