Farmhouse and attached farm buildings. House dated 'THE 1654', extended C18 altered C19; farm buildings probably mid C18. Stucco and roughcast over stone; the farm buildings of exposed rubble, partly whitewashed; graduated slate roofs. House: 2 storeys, 3:2 windows to 1st floor, 3/4 outshut to rear. Farmbuildings in U-shaped group: barn/cow house of 2 storeys and 8 bays across north end of yard, 1-storey wings project to south, that on west side forms link to house. House: roadside gable remodelled as entrance front: doorway to left with chamfered, quoined surround; 2-light chamfered mullion window above has reused lintel bearing the date '1654'. Raised quoins to right of broad, 2-storey, canted bay-window of 1:2:1 lights having projecting sills and ashlar surrounds to C20 casements; hipped roof. Brick corner stack to right of coped gable; left corner parapet raised over outshut roofline. Right return: original house front now has 3 tall casements to each floor; addition on right with 2 casements and door beneath two 6-pane sashes. Shaped kneeler and gable copings on right; 2 ridge stacks. Farm buildings: barn/cow house has catslide roof projection over central pigeon loft; recess to left with door to each floor within, also a cow house door with arched wooden frame; to right of pigeon loft the roof forms a canopy over waggon passageway. 1-storey link to house has 2 doors, casement and garage doors beneath monoclinal roof. Opposite wing with 3 boarded doors and 2 windows set beneath the eaves. INTERIOR of house not inspected. Barn has principal-rafter trusses.
