STILTON NORTH STREET TL 1689 (East Side) 10/61 No. 2 (Stoneleigh) 25.9.51 GV II

House. Late C18 or early C19. Coursed limestone rubble, dressed stone ashlar and freestone, and yellow brick. Welsh slated roof with gable and facade parapets. Ashlar gable end stacks. Two storeys with attics; symmetrical facade of five bays. Chamfered copings to parapet and plinth, plain band between floors. Central doorway with round headed arch and slightly projecting imposts; inner wooden architrave, round headed fanlight with glazing bars and six raised-and-fielded panelled door. Four ground floor and five first floor twelve-paned recessed hung sash windows with flat arches and stone cills. Good C18 details include panelling, doors and cupboards, and window shutters.
