Farmhouse, now house. Early - mid C18, possibly remodelling of earlier house, with later alterations and additions. Coursed limestone freestone front, coursed rubble sides and rear, with stone dressings and prominent long and short quoins, double Roman tiled mansard roof with raised coped verges and gable stacks with cornices. U-plan, symmetrical front. 2½ storeys and 3 windows, all sashes with thick glazing bars and raised architraves, ground floor windows have entablature and splayed stone heads above, first floor windows have splayed stone head above the architrave, central first floor round-headed window with impost blocks, projecting keystone and Gothic intersecting glazing bars, central 6-panelled door with flat stone hood on shaped brackets, 2 dormers with hipped roofs and ball finials, each with small sash; cellar has two 2-light windows each with wave- moulded mullions, semi-circular well in front of cellar windows; plinth and cornice. Right return has 2 sashes at ground floor with thin glazing bars and horns, raised architrave and entablature and small C20 window with dripstone; left return has small blocked attic window. Rear has 2 projecting 2½ storey gabled wings, each with 3-light casement with chamfered mullions, leaded lights and hood mould, similar 2-light window at first floor and small fixed light in gable; upper pitch of mansard continued down between 2 wings, central porch with pitched roof between 2 wings with 6-panelled door, central first floor 2-light casement.
