Sundial shaft. Dated 1696. Carved from a single piece of sandstone and set into a base of 2 steps. Of square plan, with lower part of shaft stop-chamfered to form an octagon. Upper part of shaft has corners cut away to form a square on plan at 45 degrees to the main square. Above that the square cap is inscribed '1696' on the south side. The sundial plate is missing.
