Includes: No.13 WELL STREET. House, probably combined originally with shop. Early C19, altered C20. Red brick in header bond, hipped slate roof, brick end stack. L-plan. 3-storey, 2-window range. Built with quadrant curve, on corner of Elm Street and Well Street. Panelled, part-glazed door to centre of curve, approached by one stone step, and with blank overlight, reeded wood surround with paterae blocks to top angles and panelled reveals. Door is flanked by large-pane windows. Door and windows under continuous narrow fascia with roll-moulded cornice. 6-panel door to right in Elm Street with overlight, panelled reveals and reeded wood surround with paterae and cornice hood. 12-pane sash windows to ground and 1st floors with flat-arched heads. 9-pane sashes to 2nd floor with similar heads. Coursed squared limestone plinth and boxed eaves.
