House in row, with restaurant. C16 with C19 fenestration. Timber-framing, rendered and scribed front, low-pitched tile roof, brick stack. Front range extends under No.85 (qv) at ground-floor level, immediately adjacent to Turners Court, and has a lower gabled wing at back. 3 storeys, 2-windowed. At second floor are 3-light casements, and at first floor square 6-pane sashes. At ground floor a run of C19 casements in brick underbuild. This frontage continues, set back, including a glazed door, under No.85. Above the first-floor windows is a blank wall surface, suggesting a raising of the eaves to provide the present low pitch. Central brick stack off-ridge, back. Back wing also in large panel framing and brick nogging, but with late C20 brick gable wall. A gabled dormer in the W-facing slope. INTERIOR: ground floor only inspected. Opened up as one space, with changes in floor and ceiling levels. Party wall to left is heavy framing with studs approx 275mm wide, and large brace. Heavy square-section joists, on chamfered beams; one of these with series of dowel-holes at approx 300mm centres for former partition, where Nos 84 & 85 previously divided. Partition to Turners Court in light panel framing.
