2 houses. c1580, refenestrated and refurbished in late C18, C20 rear additions. Timber-framed and plastered with peg-tiled roof. T shaped plan. 2 storey and attic. Front E elevation: continuous 4 window range, 2 + 2. No.32 (S) c1800, windows all have moulded architraves, sashes with glazing bsars, 4x4 panes. Central simple doorway with roll moulded lining, overlight, C19 door of 4 flush bead moulded panels. Ashlar lining on facade. No.30 (N), reworked in C20 and replastered, windows C20 2-light casements with glazing bars 2x2 panes. Ground floor has single window and simple doorway with door similar to No.32. Rear W elevation: No.30, deep C20 jettied gabled addition, ground and first floor casement windows 4 and 3 lights respectively. To N, narrow C20 lean-to with door, upper glazed 2x3 panes, adjacent single-light window. No.32 has 2-storey flat roofed addition with first floor double casement window 4x2 panes. INTERIOR: No.30 has exposed framing c1580 of early primary braced type. Ceiling joists flat-laid with joint and groove evidence of some original partitioning. Roof exposed and of clasped side-purlin form. A sawn-off projecting tie-beam between houses, seen from the street, together with some apparent difference in appearance since previous listing suggests No.30 has been considerably altered recently.
