GV II

Two houses, now one house. C18 with roof raised later and with C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble. Slate roof. Brick end and internal stacks. Long rectangular range formerly 2 properties of 2-unit plan each. 2 storeys. 5-window range altogether. Entrance off-centre to right has C20 door and hood. Entrance is flanked by 2- and 3-light metal casements in wood frames. Chamfered wood lintels and wrought-iron casement fasteners. To left a C20 window with wood lintel and a 2-light metal casement in wood frame inserted in opening for former doorwary. Wood lintel and wrought-iron metal casement windows in wood frames. Chamfered wood lintels, wrought-iron casement fasteners and latches. Once the Plough Inn which was recorded in 1784. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
