HATFIELD ASH HILL ROAD SE 60 NE (north side) 11/20 Ash Hill Lodge 24.ll.66 (formerly listed as Ash Hill Cottage in Crookes Broom Lane) II House. Of C18 origin extended by addition of front range c1800. Stuccoed brick, pantile roof. Double-depth plan; 2 storeys with partial attics, three windows to 1st floor. Central 6-panel door in wooden architrave beneath wooden trellised porch. Flanking single-storey bow windows with curved sashes of 8, 16 and 8 lights. 1st floor: sashes with glazing bars and projecting sills. Cemented eaves band; shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings with later brick end stacks to twin roofs. Interior: 6-panel door into front-left room having pilastered recess to rear.
