SU 94NE GUILDFORD WILDERNESS ROAD (West End) Onslow Village 3/257 Nos 1 & 2 West Wilderness Farmhouse GV II House, extended and divided. C16 and C17 with C19 extensions; restored in C20. Timber framed on sandstone rubble plinth with brick infill on ground floor, tile hung above with plain tiled roof. C20 brick to left with imitation frame on the first floor. Two storeys with corbelled stacks. No. 1 (to right): Gable end on 3 framed bay range with rebuilt stack on ridge. One 3-light window to first floor under pent-hood, 2-light ground-floor window below with intersecting tracery bars in transom lights and pent hood over on braces. C20 door to left in angle re-entrant with linking range to No. 2. Right hand return front:- Frame exposed with diagonal bracing to first floor. Three windows on each floor of varying sizes. No. 2 (to left): tile-hung gable to left with one square-paned, mullioned and transomed window on the first floor. Projecting square bay window below with decorative glazing bars to upper lights. Very tall corbelled stack to right in angle with linking bay. Door to rear.
