II*
Small country house. Late C16, heavily restored in 1885. Timber framed, partly roughcast; plain tile roof; roughcast chimney stacks. Roughly L-shaped plan; principal range aligned east-west facing south, rear wing to the north-west aligned north-south. C19 additions to the north-east linking the house to the chapel (q.v.).
Two storeys and attic; five gabled bays, the central bay projects and was possibly a porch originally, large wood mullioned and transomed windows containing casements with leaded lights. C19 door in the centre of the bay immediately right of centre. The front provides a sumptuous display of decorative timber framing including close-studding, quadrant braces, quatrefoils and diagonal braces in herringbone patterns. Low lean-to extension to the left, further C19 extensions set back to the right including a gable decorated with quatrefoils. The right hand extensions link Haselour Hall to the chapel (q.v.).
Interior not inspected but said to contain C16 panelling in one room, ceiling beams and an elaborate carved overmantle.
