House. Early C19 and earlier. Timber-framed with red Flemish-bond brick front and gabled clay pantile roof. 2 storeys with attics and continuous catslide roof to rear over single storey extension. EXTERIOR: front has rendered parapet and range of 3 flush double-hung sash windows with small panes and slightly arched brick heads. Central window on first floor is slightly narrower. Central pedimented doorcase with panelled Tuscan pilasters and frieze with fluting and paterae. 6-panel door is recessed with reveals of raised-and-fielded panels. Hipped roofed single-storey rendered extension on NE end with tall gable end ridgeline stack. Smaller stack through rear roof slope and 2 flat-roofed dormers. SW end has brick on ground floor and exposed imitation framing. INTERIOR: 2-bay elm timber frame exposed inside, probably of C18 with spine beams cradled between studs.
