Farmhouse. c.1740-50, late C18 bay to right. Flemish bond brick, random flared headers, coursed limestone rubble to sides and rear; stone slate roof; flared and red brick stacks. 3-unit extended to 4-unit plan. 2 storeys; 5-window range. Timber lintel over 6-panelled (4 glazed) door with flat hood. Gauged brick flat arch on ground floor and timber lintels on first floor over sashes, to left and over door; two mid C18 canted bays with mid C19 horned sashes; cambered arch and timber lintel over sashes to right bay. Storey band; dentilled eaves from left corner to right of door; early C20 gabled roof dormer. Gabled roof; gable end and one ridge stacks. 2-storey, 2-window range to rear of coursed limestone rubble with gabled C20 tile roof and brick gable end stack, and segmental stone arches over C20 casements; rear right corner attached to one-storey, 2-window range of coursed limestone rubble and gabled tile roof with datestone AD/1832. Interior: C18 six-panelled door on ground floor, C18 four- and 6-panelled doors on first floor. Wood bressumer over open fireplace to right; fireplace to centre flanked by C18 china closets; mid C18 fireplace to left. Hall open to roof has early C19 quarter-turn with winders open-string staircase. First floor has early C19 fireplace flanked by panelled cupboards and mid C18 fireplace with dentilled cornice to right.
