Farmhouse. Dated 1773. Rendered rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys,
2 first floor windows. Sash windows with glazing bars, frames renewed.
Central doorway with plain stone surround and dated lintel, C20 4-panel
door. Copings, end stacks. Single-storey extension on left not of
special interest. The name refers to its position near a linear
earthwork, and the house is on an older site.
