House. Late C16, West end and hall range rebuilt C17, extensions to East and North later C19, and North lean-to and conservatory c1960. Timber frame on red brick sill (renewed), plastered with panelled fan-pargetting. Steep old red tile roofs.

Originally a T-shaped house with C16 two-storeys two-bay crosswing at South and hall range, rebuilt in early C17 as two-storeys, projecting to North with 1 m wide passage at South end. Also a C17 one and a half storeys, one-bay service room added at West end of crosswing (now entrance hall) with external gable chimney. Large external East gable chimney with crow steps at East end of larger bay of South crosswing. Hall range extended a bay to North and then by a lower two-storeys range. North side of crosswing partitioned as passage in timber framing - possibly for an entrance on the East. Three-light and four-light hardwood mullioned windows with slim metal casements.

South front has a gabled dormer in the one and a half storeys West part with heavy battened old oak door up three steps with flat hood on small shaped brackets. Two windows to each floor of crosswing. Hardwood mullioned windows with horizontal proportions. Large red brick chimney with axial flues and crow-step decoration. Shallow catslide roof to East side extension.
