Farmhouse. C18 with earlier origins; C19 alterations, including door and window surrounds. Dressed sandstone to front, coursed rubble to rear; ashlar dressings; pantile roof; brick stacks. Three-cell, hearth-passage plan, with rear service outshut added. Two-storey, four-window front. Panelled door to right of centre, approached by stone steps. Four-light mullion window to right; similar two-light and three-light windows to left. First floor fenestration is the same, with the addition of a two-light mullion window over door. All openings have heavy, squared architraves with splayed reveals and chamfered mullions to windows. Coped gables, and two end and one centre stacks. All, windows to rear have thin timber lintels.

Interior: massive, square-section beam from earlier house has been retained in centre room.
