Piers to drawbridge. C18 with later additions including C20 iron girders of no special interest. Timber. Five rows of piers parallel to the bank. Main supports each of six piers with some smaller piers between surmounted by horizontal braces. Otherwise rows of piers, some of which are missing. The bridge previously had a double drawbridge in the centre and a gallows feature. A photograph of it in the Derwent RD Council's guide book shows it in its unmutilated state.
