WOOLSTHORPE BY BELVOIR BELVOIR ROAD SK 83 SW 2/180 Lodge by East gateway to Belvoir Estate and wash- house G.V. II Gatelodge and wash-house. c.1870. Rock cut ironstone ashlar with limestone ashlar quoins and dressings. Decorative plain tiled roof with ornate ridge tiles and wrought iron finials. Central ashlar ridge stack with 3 tall shafts, a central one diamond set flanked by circular ones. Carved openwork bargeboards. T-plan with wash-house attached. Single storey with attics. 2 bay front, the right hand bay is advanced and separately gabled. Single and 3 light casements to ground floor, single and 2 light casements to second floor. Side front has 2 storey, 2 light bay window, canted on ground floor, square on first floor. All windows have chamfered mullions and hood moulds.
