House, late C17th, altered. Sandstone rubble with roof of slate and stone slate. Front (south-east) wall partly covered by C19th extension with parallel roof. At the left is a blocked 2-light fire window. To its right is a 4-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window. Above on the 1st floor is a similar window of 5 lights. The door, further right in the angle with the extension, is covered by a stone porch. Left-hand gable chimney. The left-hand gable wall has one-light chamfered windows to both the attic and 1st floors, blocked except for the left-hand one on the 1st floor. At the rear some mullioned windows remain. Interior not accessible at time of survey. The barn, at the right, has a stone slate roof. Its wide entrance has a segmental arch and a gabled canopy. At the left is a doorway with re-set lintel, having a cyma moulding carried across its face in a segmental arch. It is inscribed '1678 AB'.
