Formerly 4 attached houses, now detached house. Part possibly C16; late C17 and early C18 additions; early C19 addition. Coursed and random rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; stone slate roof. Two- storey with attic; tight irregular grouping. East front: 2 full gables of different dates, each with gable-mounted chimney with plain caps. Single-window fenestration below each gable, all 2- light chamfered mullioned leaded iron casements with separate hoodmoulds to upper floor, continuous drip course above ground floor casement to right gable. Single-light attic casement to left gable, off-centre oval to right. South side: highest part to left is cross gabled early C18 house, rendered on south elevation with 3-light ground floor casement, two 2-light upper floor casements grouped under hoodmould and single 2-light attic casement; doorway with glazed door to right. Lower angled building to right is possibly C16 with C20 restored doorway having flat stone porch hood. North side: late C17 house to left in coursed rubble with continuous upper floor level drip course and coved eaves. Central blocked doorway with stone lintel, relieving arch above drip course; 2-light chamfered mullioned upper floor casement, one light blocked. Central part with gable-mounted chimney and cavetto cap has doorway with stone lintel and plank door to left of 3-light mullioned casements; large 2-light above. Casement fenestration, shuttered to ground floor, to right part. Interior: much internal refitting in early C19 with 2 reeded Regency fireplaces. Timber spiral staircase in cross-gabled house. Small simple stone fireplace in earliest part of building, possibly C16. Cellar below late C17 house with tunnel vault. Picturesque accumulation on central village site.
