Farmhouse. Mid C17 with early C19 addition. Coursed rubble sandstone, stone slate eaves to renewed pantile roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows to 1st floor, taller addition to left projects as a cross-wing. Main range has large quoins and double-chamfered mullioned windows with C20 casements with glazing bars. Central doorway has C20 door in chamfered, quoined surround with arched lintel. Hoodmould continues as dripmould over flanking 2-light windows and over 5-light window to far left and 3-light window to far right. 3-light windows to 1st floor. Shaped kneelers and chamfered gable copings to right. 2 rendered ridge stacks. C19 wing to left is of more deeply-coursed stone and has casement in square-faced surround to front gable, end stacks. Low addition to front of wing not of special interest.
Interior: largely altered but retaining ashlar fireplaces on ground and 1st floors and chamfer-stopped transverse beams.
