Group of five Peckforton Estate cottages 1874 (on metal plaque at first floor level). Brown brick with blue tiled roof. Three centre dwellings of 2 storeys, 2 bays each with end units in single storey lean-to bays. A single storey lean-to, with slate roof, runs the full length of the group at the rear and joins the end bays under hipped roof returns. At the rear the former privies have been adapted for modern use. Front doors, in recessed openings with Tudor arches, have false strap hinges and beads which divide them into seven vertical panels. 3-light casements with single glazing bars on ground floor level. One bay in each of the three middle cottages is set forward and gabled with timber framing in the apex, exposed purlin ends and finial. The first floor level plaque has horses head and wing, St Andrew's Cross superimposed on a diamond and inscription "confido conquiesco" with the date. Four-flue diagonally set chimney stacks.
